Julie has a BA in English with Emphasis in Creative Writing (and a Masters in Library and Information Science). In college, she spent many hours workshopping her peers and editing her own fictional thesis.
She has edited historical fiction, biography, fantasy, and sci-fi, ranging from full-length novel manuscripts to novellas and short stories. She can work with nearly any standard, such as MLA, Chicago, or APA.
Julie works closely with her clients to determine the level of editing necessary for whatever phase the manuscript is in the writing process. Her eye for detail, knack for research, and random knowledge of historical tidbits has caught many an error.
